It’s all about “family” that has helped its business thrive for so many years.

Modica Bros. was established in 1970 and has grown from one location to nine locations throughout Southeast Texas.

Founded over 40 years ago, Modica Bros. Tire and Wheel Centers have strived to offer the absolute best in customer service. A huge component of this is their neighborly approach to every individual.

It all started when brothers owned a gas station in Beaumont, started selling tires and the business just continued to grow from there.

The Orange location at 3201 16th Street opened up in August 1997 next to Interstate 10 and has been a fixture in the Greater Orange area since then.

“We all love it here and we’re like one big amazing family,” said manager Jane Zahar, who has been with Modica Bros for 14 years. “So many of us were born and raised here. We always want to treat our customers like family. We like to explain to people about things about their vehicle with no hassles and talk to them straight, just like we were talking to members of our own family and folks really appreciate that.”

All Modica Bros locations specialize in sales and service for all tires and wheels, brakes, air conditioning, batteries, alignments, radiators, shocks, struts, suspension, tire rotation, wheel mounting, power steering, and oil changes.

“Sure, we’re certainly in the tire business but our stores offer so much more,” said Zahar. “We have amazing mechanics that do tremendous work in so many capacities. We strive on getting families on the road and giving them comfort that they know they are safe doing that and everything is running properly.”

Tire brands that Modica Bros offers include Bridgestone, Firestone, Cordovan and Nitto and can also order tires to fulfill customers’ needs.

Modica Bros has great offers as well. They have utilized social media well as customers can receive good deals and specials just by the touch of their cell phones. Also, they offer a Modica Bros card and also no-hassle, six-month payment plans with no interest.

John Broussard, who helped get the Orange location going in 1997 and who still works for Modica Bros, is proud of how the location has thrived.

“Orange is a great community with tremendous folks,” said Broussard. “We love to say that we are a family here and we’ve met so many find folks and customers throughout the years that we can call our extended family.”

The location certainly stays busy and keeps their 12 employees hopping.

“We average anywhere between 40 to 50 vehicles a day that we service, ”said Broussard. “It’s all about giving good folks what they need and getting them back on the road safe and sound.”

The nine locations include the Orange store, two in Beaumont, Vidor, Groves, Nederland, Jasper, Woodville and Silsbee.

Modica Bros is also becoming extremely excited about what will be their 10th location in Southeast Texas, which will be in Bridge City next to the Sonic.

“Modica Bros has always been about family,” said CEO and founder J.C.Modica.”Not just our family as a team at each location, but the way we are tied in with each of our customers and even with all the people of our communities. We’re all Texans, and if we can do anything to help another Texan, you know we are going to do it.”

Modica Bros had its Fourth Annual “Food Drive to Can Hunger” from November to December last year.

People that donated non-perishable or canned good items received $5 off an oil change plus a free tire rotation.

Modica Bros is also heavily involved in the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
