Community Christian hosted its 8th annual 5k Color Run at Claiborne Park Saturday April 1st.  The weather was beautiful.  The participants got the opportunity to run, walk, or stroll their way through the parks 5k. Most chose to get color thrown at them but others just participated in the race. Families also got to enjoy Chick fil a biscuits, bananas and water to keep up their energy. A mobile video truck and a bounce house were there to entertain the kids.
Results were:
Krista Howell – Ladies Overall Champs, Billie Kay Melanson – Ladies Masters Champ, Sean O’Connell – Mens Overall Champ, and Jimmy Stafford was the Mens Masters Champ.
All proceeds from this event benefit the CCS Athletic program.
