West Orange – Cove CISD would like to thank our neighbors and community for their quick action today [Friday] in reporting and responding to a fire at our Educational Service Center, located at 902 W. Park Avenue. The incident was isolated and involved a welding machine (located on the back of a maintenance truck) catching fire. Our neighbors reported the fire quickly and local fire fighters responded immediately.

Preliminary information regarding the cause indicates that there was no vandalism involved.

West Orange – Cove CISD would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of those involved – those who called in to report the fire and those who extinguished it promptly. Thank you.
