After reading the good article in the February Lion magazine about collecting empty pill bottles, Zone Chairman Chris Gunstream suggested to his 12 clubs a recommendation to consider adopting this worthwhile project. Sever of his clubs have adopted this Hopefully this may become a District Lions Project in Texas, District 2-S1.

After collecting the bottles, they will be cleaned and packaged to be sent to Matthew25Ministries.

Matthew25Ministries is an organization that collects and sends medical supplies and other items of need, where the need exists. They send these bottles to a third world area, such as Africa, and other areas, so doctors can put pills in the bottles for the people they see at the health clinics.
