Remembering Sarah Jefferson-Simon’s life, love and legacy during the Community Memorial held Friday night at West Orange Stark Elementary School. Debbie Thomas, left, was officiator of the ceremony. Micky Smith played the saxophone in honor of Jefferson-Simon. Several members of the community spoke on how Sarah touched their lives with her quick laughter and love of God. A public viewing will be held 9 a.m. -11 a.m. Saturday at Community Church, 3400 Martin Luther King Drive in Orange. A Celebration of Life begins at 11 a.m.
