Just before Christmas break, Little Cypress Junior High band students and director David Wilhelm were very busy. Ten students earned chairs in the All-Region Band. Those students are Landon Acord, left, Spencer Layman, Allie Shaffer, Spencer Brister, Emma Kasti, Brianna Martinez, Blade Barlow, Rylie Dollar, Aiden Watson and Jace Peveto.

The entire band also entertained students at Little Cypress Intermediate. This is the school whose fifth graders will attend LCJH next fall. The concert is also a way of interesting the students in signing up for band when they start the registration process this spring.
