Sheriff’s Office investigating numerous burglaries in North Vidor area

PRESS RELEASE — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office received numerous calls in the past 2 weeks in reference to burglaries of vehicles in the North Vidor area.   Some items reportedly stolen were tools, purses, credit cards, and cash.

Earlier this week, Orange County Investigators canvassed the areas where the burglaries occurred and followed up on several leads. These efforts led Investigators to several persons of interest who are currently being questioned about their possible involvement.

Lieutenant Joey Jacobs of the Criminal Investigations Division is confident that the pending investigation will lead to the arrest of one or more individuals.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind residents to always lock your vehicles and to take all personal items with you or put them out of sight when you leave your vehicle.
