LITTLE CYPRESS — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears notched a decisive 36-19 non-district basketball victory at The Bear Cave Tuesday night.

Chelsea Perry led the Lady Bear attack with eight points.

Jacie Miller and Kilon Gillis tallied seven points apiece while Alyssa McKellar had six.

PORT NECHES — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears nabbed the first career win for first-year head coach Brad Jeffcoat as they went on the road to defeat Port Neches-Groves 45-35 Tuesday night.

Katon Brown powered the Bear arsenal with 13 points while Ayson Simmons had nine.

ORANGEFIELD — The Beaumont West Brook Lady Bruins toppled the Orangefield Lady Bobcats 51-44 at Bobcat Gym Tuesday.

Faityh Fregia led the Lady Bobcats with 17 points and was 7-for-8 from the free-throw line while adding two rebounds. Cameron Choate chimed in with 10 points and seven rebounds.
