On October 8, 2016, Orangefield High School Speech and Debate teams competed in the West Hardin High School tournament.   The Cross Examination debate teams consisted of  Alyssa Kelley and Katy Swiere, placing 2nd; Alexis Sturrock and Tatum Garlington, placing 4th; and Garrett Crooks and Griffin Batchelor.  The Lincoln Douglas debaters Hannah Blaine and Sadie Menard participated as well. Katelynn Carpenter competed in Extemporaneous Speaking.  Congratulations to the speakers and debaters.  The OHS Speech and Debate Team will compete at LCM and Nederland high schools in the upcoming weeks.
