Kevin McAdams and Leslie Barras, of the Historic District in Orange, welcome Naomi, a 24 foot tall Live Oak from Wilkinson Tree Farm in Iowa, LA. The couple has been waiting for the tree for months and is happy to see it planted in their yard on Wednesday. Barras said they opted to buy a larger tree because they didn’t have enough time to wait for a seedling to grow. Naomi, a name given to the tree by Barras’ mother, is based upon a Biblical figure of great endurance and perseverance.
