PRESS RELEASE — On May 15, 2016, Jerry N. Campbell was killed on FM 105 in Orange County.

Michael Lynn Davis was arrested and charged with Intoxication manslaughter, failure to render aid /accident involving death, and possession of a controlled substance.

His bond was set at $55,000.00.

Under Article17.151 in the Texas Code of Criminal Procedures, an individual can be release on PR bond if they have not been indicted within a 90 day.

Mr. Davis walked out of the Orange County Jail on September 14, 2016.

The Campbell family will hold a press conference on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 2pm

at the local MADD office to address their concerns with this process within the criminal justice system.
