Speed limit on Interstate 10 to be reduced starting Monday

BEAUMONT – The speed limit of 75 mph on IH 10 between Beaumont and the Chambers County line will be lowered to 65 mph Monday, August 29. The speed limit will be enforceable when the signs have been installed.

This is a result of a traffic and engineering study as well as the crash history of this section of roadway.
