Get colorful with face painting by the frog pond and then pose for a picture with a costumed ladybug who will be roaming around the garden.Take in a ladybug story in the Here We Grow! Children’s Garden at 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:30 pm. Make an antennae, create ladybug greeting cards, have fun with ladybug stickers, and so much more!

While at the Gardens, take pleasure in viewing ten of  David Rogers’ BIG BUGS. David Rogers creatures are handcrafted from found wood and other natural materials, and placed in their natural habitat. Through May 28, Shangri La Gardens and Stark Museum of  Art will offer a one-of-a-kind perspective into the fascinating world of these David Rogers’ creatures by exploring the art and science of insects in order to connect people of all ages to the natural world in a variety of unexpected ways.
