BEAUMONT – CommunityBank of Texas is teaming up with the American Red Cross to help those who have been forced from their homes by floodwaters. Beginning Monday, March 21^st, CommunityBank of Texas customers and community members can leave donations at any southeast Texas banking center, and the donations will go directly to the Red Cross relief efforts in surrounding communities.

“We are thankful for this opportunity to work with the American Red Cross to lend a helping hand in our community,” said J. Pat Parsons, CommunityBank of Texas vice chairman. “Every donation makes a difference and giving back to our community is one way in which we stand by our ‘Bank Where U Live’ message.”

Anyone wishing to make cash or check donations can also use the southeast Texas banking centers as collection hubs, and 100 percent of the funds collected will go to the American Red Cross.
