Ashley Knight, left, and Julia Iles, Little Cypress-Mauriceville students, placed in the recent Texas Alliance of Minority Engineers (TAME) competition. Sophomore Ashley Knight took Second Place in Algebra II, Third Place in Chemistry and Second Place in Group Engineering Design Challenge. Julia Iles, LCM freshman, placed First in Geometry, Second in Biology and Judges Choice in Group Engineering Design Challenge.  According to Laura Gestal, the Coach, all students who received finished First in each event, and some who received Second, will go to state.
