Eight Little Cypress-Mauriceville art students of Betsy Kaufman submitted paintings for the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Art Contest this past weekend. Of the submissions, three seniors received medals for their work.

Sundas Imtiaz took best of show for her painting, “Boot Scootin’.” Brooke Tant and Veronica Ibarra both won Gold Medals. Brooke’s painting is titled, “Bovine Beauty” and Veronica’s is “Desert Gabriel.”
