Dalan Jones and Connor Alexander, juniors at Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School, participated in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), January 8 through 10, 2016 at Pineywoods Baptist Encampment in Woodlake, Texas. Approximately 300 students took part in RYLA, Rotary’s training program for teens, which emphasizes leadership, citizenship and personal growth.

Rotary – District 5910 sponsored these participants who were chosen for their leadership potential. RYLA aims to demonstrate Rotary’s respect and concern for youth, provide an effective training experience for potential leaders, encourage leadership of youth by youth, and recognize publicly young people who are rendering service to their communities.
