Funeral service for Christopher Lee Myers, age 41, of Orange, TX  was held at  2pm Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Cox Funeral Home, Oak Grove, Louisiana.

Rev. Roy Telano officiated the service. Interment followed in the Providence Memorial Cemetery, Lake Providence, Louisiana. Services were under the direction of Cox Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. Myers died Wednesday December 30, 2015 at University Health, Shreveport, LA.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elbert Lee Ikerd and Doris Maxine Ikerd.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Carol Myers of Lake Providence, LA; father, Terry Dean Myers of Lake Providence, LA; sister, Angela Dianne Cooley of Lake Providence, LA; nephew, David Ryan Cooley of Vidor, TX; niece, Kimberly Lauren Cooley of Orange, TX; grandfather, Herman Myers of Monticello, LA and grandmother, Melvaline Myers of Monticello, LA.

Pallbearers were Lee West, Jake Burnett, Ryan Green, Thad Stein, Shawn Faulk, Mark Hanlon and Toby Guidry.
Honorary pallbearers were Dillon Burt, Charlie Lefort, Clint Breaux, Russell Hanson, Derrick Faulk, Troy Carpenter, John Brown, Josh Leuth, Ryan Johansson, Chad Loop, Kenny Brown, Christopher Tyler, Michael Davis and MANY other close friends.
