Student of the Month

The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce recognized Scarlett Neely as the Student of the Month. Scarlett is a senior at Orangefield High School where she is in the National Honor Society, Debate Team, Student Council, Theater Troupe, Library Club, Texas Association of Future Educators and Future Farmers of America. She is the high-ranking girl in her class, regional qualifier for the Lincoln-Douglas Debate, State Qualifier in Congress Debate, and a District Qualifier for the Stark Reading Contest. Scarlett has been accepted to the University of Texas, where she plans to major in political science. She would like to intern at the Capitol while obtaining her bachelor’s degree. Ivy League Law school and eventually become an International Human Rights lawyer and be active in politics.
