Orange residents from a months old to 80, gathered Thursday evening on the steps of Orange City Hall to sing Christmas carols as protest to the Nativity scene being removed earlier this week after the Orange County Atheists group had requested and was denied a request to place a banner on the grounds. The city opted to remove it to avoid possible litigations, which could have cost taxpayers $300-400 thousands according to Councilman Patrick A. Pullen.
