AUSTIN, Texas – TEXAS’ best, most classic and funniest personalized license plates for 2015 have been revealed.

My Plates has named their favorite plate combinations for 2015 in a series of category awards following a big year in personalized plate sales.

The popularity of personalized plates has continued to grow with Texans embracing the release of new plate designs earlier this year including the Texas Oil and Gas plate and Lone Star 1836. Both of these are available with up to 7-letters, with background only starting from only $50 a year, making them affordable for all Texans.

Harris County, being the most populated county in Texas, understandably delivered the highest volume of personalized plates over the last twelve months. However, when it came to looking at personalized plate sales by specific zip code, it was Katy, Texas that can now boast being the most personalized place in the state of Texas.

In second place was McKinney, followed by League City, Sugarland and Pearland rounding out the top five. Other top selling regions included Missouri City, Frisco, Cypress, Spring and Cedar Park.

There are now over 250,000 specialty plates that have been sold by My Plates, with more people than ever using their bumpers to express humor, individuality, creativity and self-expression.
