Special to The Leader

McCoy’s Building Supply at 4514 West Lutcher Drive in Orange is hosting a Toy Drive to benefit Toys for Tots. Brand-new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at McCoy’s Orange location now thru Dec. 12. For every 3 items donated, you’ll be entered into a drawing for the chance to win a Yeti ™ cooler valued at $200. The drawing for the Yeti ™ will be held on Dec. 14 and you need not be present to win.

With the help of local companies and organizations, Toys for Tots is able to collect toys and monetary donations so children in foster care throughout the Golden Triangle of Orange, Beaumont and Port Arthur can open presents on Christmas morning. This year there are over 4,000 children in the Golden Triangle who will benefit from Toys for Tots.

These staggering statistics about children in need moved McCoy’s employees to find a way to give back to the community where they work and serve. Donors are invited to drop by during store hours to help support the Toy Drive. The Orange location is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm and Saturday from 7am to 5pm. The store is closed on Sunday to allow time for family and worship.
