The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Clara Hawthorne, 76, of Orange, TX will be Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11:00 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Orange.
Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
She died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at The Oaks of Beaumont in Beaumont, TX.
An Orange native, she lived in California a number of years before returning to Orange in 2003.
Her working years were spent as a Seamstress.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Hawthorne of Orange, son, Byron Hawthorne of Port Arthur, TX, daughter, Jacquelyn Arion of Long Beach, CA, 3 brothers, Rudolph Bell of Vinton, LA, Marvin Roberts of Orange, and Henry Roberts of Phoenix, AZ, 1 sister, Deborah Guillory of Austin, TX, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
