COUNTY — National Weather Service has issued a warning of increased risks of flooding in the northwest area of Orange County.

“The flooding is expected to last well into this week,” Orange County Emergency Management Coordinator Ryan Peabody said.

Filled and unfilled sandbags are available at 345 Claiborne Street in Vidor.

“There are limited filed bags,” Peabody said. “However, the unfilled are unlimited.”

Peabody said he would be on location until at least 5 p.m. today.
