Orange Music Fest at the Riverfront Pavilion scheduled for Saturday, October 24th has been canceled due to weather according to Director of Economic Development Jay Trahan.

“We were in a weather webinar this afternoon [Thursday],” Trahan said. “The webinar shows isolated storms with lightening in the area at 6 p.m.”

The headlining event, scheduled for 8 p.m. would have to cancel for safety reasons due to the storms.

The city of Orange and staff opted to postpone the nine-hour event and reschedule for a spring or summer date in 2016.

The free event, sponsored by Cecil Atkission Motors, was scheduled to feature regional bands such as

Alez Rozell, Justin Judalet Band, Tyler Darby and The Train Wreck, Brad Brinkley and Comfort Zone , and a special performance by Kree Harrison.
