I am a sophomore at Bridge City High School and I think our football team is the best football team in District 10-4A, Division 1! I believe that we will make it to the play offs and go deep into it this year!
I think that Coach DuBois has turned the football program around, because of his football knowledge that he brought when he came and the way he runs things to better the kids! Once he officially became our football coach, I noticed all of the football kids last year started working out more and training early with each other during the winter last year. The football kids all believed in Coach DuBois, that he would help them be the best they could be. I felt like once Coach DuBois became our head football coach, he saw a lot that needed to change, like the way the football players run their offense, what they practice with, how they drive the practices, and how the football team needed to be more like a family! I think the number one thing he changed this year was the kid’s hearts and how they respect each other instead of being negative toward each other. He is not just making our football team better in football, but he is making them more helpful to the community. One day the football players went out to the library and read books to the children. Our football team is 4-1, with 1 district win. I predict that we will be district champs, because our football players work the hardest in the area. They want to be district champs, and they all want to go to the play offs and show what Coach DuBois did for this football program. I believe that we are good enough to hang next week with the Jasper Bulldogs and beat them. I wish Bridge City good luck next week against the Jasper Bulldogs.
