SPECIAL TO THE LEADER—-

Zachry-Odebrecht Parkway Builders has completed construction on the new eastbound frontage road along the present-day Riley Fuzzel corridor. In achieving this milestone, construction crews have been able to transition the traveling public into a new traffic pattern closer to final configuration. The new configuration eliminates the traffic signal and crossover at the Fox Run/Discovery Creek intersection allowing for freer movement of traffic. In addition, eastbound traffic will have access to the permanent U-turn at Rayford Road while still maintaining a dedicated left turn and straight through/right turn lane.

This configuration is scheduled to remain in place for approximately 6 to 8 weeks, while work is completed on the future westbound frontage road.  As work crews progress through construction, the traveling public can choose to utilize Rayford Road, Spring Trails Ridge and Water Bend Cove as alternative routes to Riley Fuzzel.
