A handful of citizens joined together in prayer, on Saturday, for students, parents, teachers and administrators of the West Orange-Cove Consolidated Independent School District. This marked the eighth year Salem United Methodist Church has hosted the Prayer Caravan, which started at the Administration Building and Alternative School, 902 West Park Avenue. The caravan happens each year prior to the first day of school. The first day of school was Monday, Aug. 24.
