National weather update

National Weather Service — Tropical Storm Danny is located in the tropical Atlantic Ocean. It is expected to remain out in the Atlantic for the next 5 days, and could become a hurricane.

Longer range models for next week show two scenarios: one scenario curves the system through the Bahamas and move north in the Atlantic Ocean, and the other scenario is it weakening and dissipate as it moves west into the Caribbean.
Either way, there is no threat to our region at this time with this system. However it is hurricane season, and it is always important to stay tuned to weather updates on the tropics. We will be monitoring future forecasts of Danny, and send email updates as necessary.
