A Houston attorney filed a lawsuit in Jefferson County Friday on behalf of Darla Kruse of Vidor.

Kruse is suing E. Hart Green, and Weller, Green, Toups & Terrell , LLP for $1,000,000 for failing to file a lawsuit on her behalf before all statue of limitations expired, failing to disclose conflicts of interest, and leaving Kruse without representation.

Kruse hired Green and the Weller Firm to recover damages for injuries sustained as a result of her medical provider’s failure to diagnose and properly treat severe, disfiguring and disabling tendon injuries to her left hand in February 2011, according to the lawsuit.

The case of Darla Kruse v. Darryn L. Meyers, MD and Derrick M. Meyers, MD was filed in the 260^th Judicial District Court of Orange County in June of 2011.

Attorney Steven M. Duble is representing Kruse in the lawsuit.
