The Dairy Queen Big Game of the Week, one of the most popular features of FOX Sports Southwest’s Friday night high school football coverage, will make its way to Orange Oct. 2 when the Class 4A state-ranked West Orange-Stark Mustangs face the Class 3A state-ranked Newton Eagles in non-district action at Hooks Stadium.

The Mustangs went 13-3 last season, advancing all the way to the Class 4A Division II State Championship Game while the Eagles (12-4) made it all the way to the Class 3A Division II State Championship Game.

Beginning with Week One on Aug. 28 and continuing through the end of the regular season, FOX Sports Southwest reporter Neil Beasley and a camera crew will travel on the FOX Sports Southwest High School Express luxury bus to one of the state’s most prominent games and capture the “big game” atmosphere around town.

Beasley and crew will attend school pep rallies, visit the local Dairy Queen, and take viewers on campus, around the community and inside the locker room for an intimate look at high school football in Texas.

The behind-the-scenes DQ Big Game of the Week segment will be shown each week on High School Scoreboard Live Fridays at midnight and replayed on Saturdays at 9 a.m. and it will also be on High School Spotlight on Sundays at 10:30 p.m. and replayed on Mondays at 3 p.m.
