Paul David “P.C.” Coleman

Paul David “ P. C. “ Coleman, 61, of Mauriceville, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Dubuis Hospital – St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. Born on May 13, 1954 in Orange, Texas to his parents, Melvin Coleman, Jr. and Clarice Coty (Doyle) Coleman, he was a lifelong resident of the Deweyville and Mauriceville area. He grew up in Deweyville and graduated from Deweyville High School. Paul worked as a mechanic in the offshore oil industry. He enjoyed drag racing cars, playing music on his mandolin and spending time with his family.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sue Spears. Those who will most cherish his memory are his wife of 25 years, Allison S. Coleman of Mauriceville; his daughters, Sara Coleman Dupuy and husband, Michael and Megan Coleman all of Mauriceville; his sisters, Reba Moosman and husband Stewart of Lake Charles and Nell Breaux and husband, Kenny of Starks; his brothers, Wayne Coleman and wife, Rose of Franklin, Louisiana, Melvin L. Coleman and wife, Sharon of Franklin, Mark Coleman and wife, Patsy of Orange, Biff Coleman and wife, Griselda of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Kim Coleman and wife, Margie of Starks and Leslie Coleman and wife, Penny of Starks; his grandson on the way, Easton Coy Dupuy as well as numerous nieces, nephews and members of his extended family.

Memorial services to remember and honor Paul’s life will be at 2:00 Saturday, July 11, 2015 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange with Brother John Fortenberry, officiating. A gathering of Paul’s family and friends will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM just prior to the service. Cremation was held prior to the services.
