The City of Vidor and the Vidor Lions Club held a special Fourth of July event this past Saturday to re-dedicate its Veterans Memorial Plaza, also known as the Fields of Freedom, and recognized a large group of veterans from five wars, including World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War, and both Persian Gulf conflicts.
