Fish and fireworks

Although the 20-minute fireworks display was postponed until 8:45 p.m., Sunday, July 5. After the evening service, congregation and guests enjoyed fried catfish and French fries with all the trimmings along with a delicious buffet of homemade desserts. Ed Rawls, pastor at Silver Oaks Baptist Church, 16469 Farm to Market Road 1442, just north of Interstate 10, in Orange, says the fireworks will be a blast to watch and anyone is welcome to join in on the experience.
