ORANGEFIELD — Orangefield High School is looking for a new head volleyball coach after Meagan Adams, who has coached the Lady Bobcats the last three seasons, has left to go to Cypress Lake High School to be an assistant.
Cypress Falls advanced to the Class 6A State Tournament last season and finished the year 29-14.
Adams led the Lady Bobcats to the playoffs in her first two years, including a District 21-3A Championship in 2012.
Adams was a standout player for Lamar University for four seasons and was a key cog in leading the Lady Cardinals to the NCAA Tournament in her senior year in 2008.
In four seasons at Lamar, Adams compiled 642 kills, 195 of them coming her senior year.
