Special to The Leader

Children can become an EcoRanger and have a summer adventure at Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center in Orange.  Summer camp activities, explorations and discoveries will delight and enthrall young people interested in science, nature and art. Children will investigate secret trails, search for critters, create art, cruise down the bayou, learn water conservation, become a nature photographer and have a chance to make new friends. This is a summer adventure of learning and fun.
EcoRangers Summer Camp is open to students entering grades 3-9. Science camp classes will be held at Shangri La and some classes will be held at the Stark Museum of Art. All camp classes have a low student-to-teacher ratio which enhances learning.
For more information and a list of camp classes, visit the Shangri La website or visit starkculturalvenues.org/shangrilagardens/education/summer-camps
Sign up now for EcoRangers Summer Camp. Pre-registration is needed by June 23.
