A man was taken into custody by an Orange Police Officer for public intoxication shortly after telling the officer he wanted to go to jail and jail was his home.
The man was walking towards the Orange Police Station as an officer was parking at the station when the man approached the officer at approximately 10 p.m., Tuesday evening.
The man’s speech was slurred and eyes appeared glassy.
He also addmitted to consuming at least three beers before speaking with the officer.
