Special to The Leader
The summer Guild group has been meeting on the second Tuesday of the month and we have been well informed so far.  Sarah Johnson, local author spoke again this month on formatting issues.  Sara Johnson of Orange has published seven books and sells internationally.  She has a vast knowledge of all aspects of writing, formatting, and self publishing.
Sarah covered a lot of material about drop caps, fonts, leading, reviewing, page set up, etc. which indirectly, she taught us a class on Microsoft Word.  It taught us “want to be” authors not only how to set up a book but also how to do it in Word.  She also had hand-outs so when the Guild got in front of their computers they would have a reference guide.  Sarah is not only a good writer; she also has a flair for sharing information with people.  Her sunny disposition makes it easy to learn.  She welcomes people to e-mail her about any questions they might have at sarah.johnson.jaff@gmail.com
Please join us next month on the second Tuesday, July 14th, 2015 at 6 p.m.  Sarah’s mother will be sharing her knowledge with us so please come join us.  We meet at The Brown Hearing Center, 105 Camellia, Orange.  This is a free Guild.
