At approximately 3:00am, there was a six vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 10 at mile marker 868 in Orange County.  Five people were sent to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.

A Ford pickup truck towing a trailer was eastbound on the Interstate when it was struck by a Chevrolet pickup truck.  The crash sent crash debris across both eastbound lanes of traffic.  Four additional vehicles, including a truck tractor semi-trailer, struck the debris in the roadway.

Four people were transported to area hospitals with what appears to be non life-threatening injuries.  One of the occupants was a pregnant woman who was transported by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth hospital as a precautionary measure.

All lanes of the Interstate are now open.

Troopers continue to work to determine what contributed to this crash.
