Jeremy Lynn Cogar, Sr., 36, of Lumberton, died Saturday, May 23, 2015, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. He was born on January 24, 1979, to Louise Marie Hebert and William Lee Cogar, Sr., in Port Arthur.

 

Survivors include his girlfriend, Amanda Garza; children, Jeremy Lynn Cogar, Jr. and Ayrlynn Cogar, all of Lumberton; father, William “Billy” Cogar, Sr. of Port Arthur; mother, Louise Marie Hebert of Orange; brother, William “Billy” Cogar, Jr. of Port Arthur; and grandmother, Nettie Lucille Hebert of Bridge City.

 

A memorial service for Mr. Cogar was held on Friday, May 29, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His cremation was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
