Deanna Louise Mouton Craig, 71, of Lake Charles, LA died at 6:26 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Craig was born November 18, 1943 in Kaplan, LA, and lived most of her life in Orange, TX before moving to Lake Charles after Hurricane Ike.  She was a graduate of West Orange High School and worked as a waitress at various restaurants throughout her career.  She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Orange.  During her younger years, she enjoyed planting flowers and keeping her yard beautiful.  Mrs. Craig also enjoyed frequenting garage sales and spending time at her camp at Holly Beach.  She was a collector of Coca Cola memoribilia and antiques.  She also enjoyed shopping, Cajun music, Christmas time, and especially her family.  She will always be remembered as a caring, giving, loving, and genuine woman with a beautiful soul and giant heart.
Mrs. Craig is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years, David Craig; daughter, Donna Taylor Fontenot and husband Chuck of Lake Charles; step-daughter, Elizabeth Campbell and husband Tom of Orange, TX; brother-in-law, Richard Davis of Sam Rayburn, TX; sister-in-law, Tonja Rodriguez and husband Joel of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Caleb Fontenot, Brandi Ingalls and husband Brandon, Dori Miller, and Nathan Miller; great-grandchildren, Harli and Cole; niece, Lisa Pratt and husband Charlie of New Caney, TX; nephew, Jeff Davis of Bridge City, LA; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claniss and Inez Mouton; and sister, Betty Ann Davis.
Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the First United Pentecostal Church of Orange, TX, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Reverend Gary Wheeler will officiate.  Gathering of family and friends will be at the church from 1:00 PM until the start of the service.
