ORANGE — Mrs. Jackson’s fifth grade class at Community Christian School did a first class job on its admission for the Shangri La Scarecrow contest. The kids brought in milk jugs, plastic bags, egg cartons, individual plastic drink containers and even a plastic sandwich tray for her head to make this totally recyclable tribute to Lady Liberty. “I am so proud of how all of my kids brought in recyclables and participated in this creation from the idea stage up unto the final statue,” Jackson said.
