ORANGE — Thanksgiving Feast

West Orange Christian Church, 900 Lansing St. in West Orange, will serve a Thanksgiving feast following its service on Sunday, Nov. 11. Service begins at 10:40 a.m. The public is invited and is asked to bring their family, friends and favorite food. Call Nelda at 409-719-3992 for more info.

Gospel concert

Lowell Mason, “the world’s smallest gospel singer,” will perform at 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, at West Orange Christian Church, 900 Lansing St. in West Orange. Lowell is a 46-inch tall “little person” who has a big, deep voice. The public is invited. Learn more at www.lowellmason.com.

Gift Shop and Luncheon

The Altar Society of Saint Mary Church will hold its annual Gift Shop and Luncheon from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15. Gumbo luncheone is served from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., and cost is $7. Take-out available and delivery available for orders of 5 or more. Call Wanda Simar at 409-883-4912 to schedule delivery. Arts, crafts, baked goods, frozen foods and canning goods available for purchase.

Harvest Festival

The youth department of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 512 W. John Ave. in Orange, will have a harvest festival with games, auctions, tournaments, vendors and more from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 24. The public is invited.

Mt. Zion Services

Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church meets at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, for Sunday School; 11 a.m., Sunday, for Worship Service; 6 p.m., Monday, for Brotherhood and Women’s Ministry; 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, for Bible study; and 7 p.m., Wednesday, for mid-week service.

First United Methodist Services

First United Methodist Church, 502 N. Sixth St. in Orange, holds Traditional services at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., Sunday; Contemporary services at 9 a.m., Sunday. Sunday school at 10 a.m. Call the church at 409-886-7466 for more information.

Worship Service

Bishop Larry Phillips Sr. and Gateway Christian Church, 1503 Green Ave. in Orange, invite the public to Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesday worship at 6:30 p.m. Family Bible Study is at 6:30 p.m., Thursday. The public is invited.
