MOPS

Mothers of Pre-schoolers (MOPS) meets from 9:30 a.m. - noon, one Tuesday a month in the Praise Center of First United Methodist Church-Orange. You don’t have to be a Methodist, just a mom. Council meeting

The City Council of Bridge City will hold its next regularly scheduled meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2, at City Hall, 265 Rachal Ave. in Bridge City. The public is welcome to attend.

 

Orange Senior Center

Every weekday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. is game day at the new Orange Senior Center located at 103 Fifth Street in Orange. Come join us for fun and your favorite table games.

Faith Kidz will meet from 5:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Faith United Methodist Church, 8608 MLK Jr. Drive in Orange.

 

Parkinson Awareness

Plate lunch fundraiser

American Legion Post 49, 108 Green Ave. in Orange, will hold a plate lunch fundraiser from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 4. Cost is $7 and meal consists of fried fish, potato salad, cole slaw, green beans, bread and dessert. Walk-in’s welcome and delivery available. For orders or delivery call 409-886-1241 after noon, Oct. 3 and before 9 a.m., Oct. 4

 

Regional Henry Blackaby Conf.

Little Cypress Baptist Church will be the host of the Regional Henry Blackaby Conference, at 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 5, and 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 6. Blackaby is the well-known author of “Experiencing God” and other study books used by many churches nation-wide. Call the church at 409-883-8905 for info or schedule.
