ORANGE — Monthly BBQ

The Fraternal Orders of Eagles, Sabine Aerie 2523, located at 803 N 28th St, Orange, Tx. Is having the monthly BBQ Thursday, July 18. The menu includes smoked brisket, link, potato salad, baked beans, bread, cookie and trimming for $8 a plate. Dine-in, pick-up or delivery is offered. The Bridge City-Orangefield Rotary Club meets at noon, every Thursday, at the Bridge City Community Center.

Pool Tournament

VFW Post 8246, 2110 S. Main in Vidor, invites the public to its weekly pool tournament every Friday night. Ages 21 and older only. Call 409-768-1482 for info.

Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo

The Orange County Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo will be held at 8 p.m., nightly, Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20, at the OCSP Rodeo Arena, 6610 FM 105 in Orange, located one-half mile east of State Highway 62. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Call 409-886-2638 for information.

Band Boosters Garage Sale

Vidor High School Band Boosters will be having a huge garage sale starting at 7 a.m., Saturday, July 20 in the Oak Forest Elementary cafeteria on State Highway 12 in Vidor with 100 percent of the money raised going to band students in the Mighty Pirate Marching Band at Vidor High School.

Memorial Service

The life of James “Bubba” Roy will be celebrated with a memorial service at 1 p.m., Sunday, July 21, at the Fraternal Order Order of Eagles, 803 N. 28th St. in Orange. Call Shon Branham at 409-670-8731 for info.
