Snack Box coming to West Orange Walmart

WEST ORANGE — Walmart customers in West Orange are in for a treat.

Snack Box quick-serve restaurants is opening its first store in Texas inside Walmart in West Orange.

“We will dynamically change the in-store experience through our multi-sensory activation,” Mark Levine, vice president of marketing, said. “With our shopping tray, we will make it easy for all to have a snack while shopping and saving a Walmart.”

A press release sent out by Snack Box said “what makes Snack Box different is that we consistently deliver the most convenient, community-centric,  and custom designed snacks and beverages.”

“Snack Box’s low cost options ensure the customer keeps a full wallet, while enjoying delicious snack items,” the release said. “All the while, the customer is blogging, tweeting, Facebooking about their experience, creating a dynamic presence within social media.”

Snack Box will offer a wide variety of menu items including everything from Kolaches to Buffalo Chicken Bites, fresh baked cookies, pretzels and cinnamon rolls. There will also be drinks available like Spark and Minute Maid Fruit Smoothies.

The first Snack Box opened in El Dorado, Ark. in November.

“It was great to open our first store in Arkansas as a proving ground but it is equally exciting to open our store in Texas, the state I grew up in,” CEO David Hoodis said.
