ORANGE — BC Christmas Parade

Classic Christmas Cruise

The Vidor Chamber of Commerce will present the Vidor Classic Christmas Cruise from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, in the parking lot of Capital One Bank on North Main Street. Classic and vintage cars will be on display, plus live music, vendors and more. Call 409-769-6339 for info.

Christmas Stroll

The public is invited to take a Christmas Stroll at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center to see the lighted trees throughout the grounds. Visit www.shangrilagardens.org for more info.

Christmas Cantata

Salem United Methodist Church, 402 W. John Ave. in Orange, will hold its Christmas Cantata at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8. The public is invited to come and enjoy Christmas and gospel music. Refreshments will be served. Call the church at 409-883-2611 for info.

Christmas Tour of Homes

The Buna Ladies Civic Club will hold its annual Christmas Tour of Homes from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8 Tickets can be purchased at Keeler’s in Buna and at each home. Call 409-994-3367 for info.

First Sermon

Bro. Allen J. Daniel, a 2012 graduate of West Orange-Stark High School, and a very faithful and dedicated member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 612 N. Third St. in Orange, will be preaching his first sermon at 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9. The public is invited.

Retired teachers

Retired Teachers of Orange County will meet at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 10 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 401 37th St. in Orange.
