ORANGE — Benefit for Lexy Bertrand

A benefit event will be held for Vidor teenager Lexy Bertrand, who was killed in a February automobile collision, from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday, March 9, at Woods Pavilion, 141 N. Main in Vidor. Plate lunches, live music, an auction, bake sale and raffle are all scheduled. All proceeds will go to family for expenses

Mighty Pirates 4-H

The Mighty Pirates 4-H Club will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 11 at the Raymond Gould Community, corner of Claiborne Street and I-10 East feeder road in Vidor. Call Cathy at 409-769-4346 for info.

VFW Post 8246

VFW Post 8246 will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 11 at the Post home, 2110 S. Main in Vidor.

Le Grand Bal

Lamar University invites the public to its Le Grand Bal: “An Evening of Art,” a black-tie event at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 22 in the Montagne Center in Beaumont. Tickets are $150 per person. Mystery Dinner

Southeast Texas Hospice will hold its annual mystery dinner fundraiser at 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, at St. Mary Parish Hall, 912 W. Cherry in Orange. Tickets for “A Fatal Night at the County Fair” are $30 per person and can be purchased at the hospice office. Call 409-886-0622 or 800-749-3497 for more info.
