ORANGE — Pool tournament

The Fraternal Order of Eagles. Aerie 2523, located at 803 N. 28th Street, Orange, Texas host a pool tournament each Friday beginning at 8 p.m. The community is invited to come meet the members of Aerie 2523 and join in the fun. For more information leave a message after 4 p.m. at 409-886-7381.

Relay for Life

GOALS Spelling Bee

The Greater Orange Area Literacy Services (GOALS) will hold its 15th Annual Spelling Bee fundraiser from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28, in the Student Center of Lamar State College-Orange. Tickets are $15 and include a light lunch. Teams interested in participating, or those wishing to make a donation or tutor, may call 409-886-4311 for information.

Vidor Historical Society

The Vidor Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, March 3 at in the Fellowship Hall of First Pentecostal Church at Camp and Wilson Streets.

City Council

Pine Forest City Council will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, March 3 at City Hall, 305 Nagel St. in Pine Forest. The public is welcome to attend.

City Council

The City of Bridge City will hold its regularly scheduled council meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, at City Hall, 260 Rachal in Bridge City. The public is invited.

Taste of the Triangle

The Sabine Area Restaurant Associations annual fundraiser, “Taste of the Triangle,” will be held from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 4 in the Beaumont Civic Center. Tickets are $20 at all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Beaumont Civic Center box office and HEB on Dowlen Road in Beaumont. Charge by phone at 800-745-3000 or online at www.Ticketmaster.com.
