ORANGE — The 18th Annual Community Trash Off was held from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9. The West Orange-Stark Middle School Student Council participated for the tenth year as part of the community service program. The students, Ryan Ragsdale in boots, in the front, left to right: Markayla Mickey, Shatyra Allen, Jack Dallas, Dwaun Guidry, Jared Dupree, Chad Dallas, Paul Ivory, Isom Colbert, and Julian Celestino, are receiving final instructions before leaving for their designated area to clean-up. Hester receives Award of Excellence
Texas 4-H Youth and Development 2014 Salute to Excellence Honoree is Kathy Hester of Orange County. Mrs. Hester has been a part of 4-H for over 30 years. She is the club manager for the Mighty Pirates 4-H in Vidor.
